Visit to FTNON

We visited the research and assembly location of FTNON in Delft. They engineer and develop machines for food processing. We mainly discussed their technology to image lettuce heads and process them in an automated way. It was very interesting to see that many of the questions related to their technology are also applicable to plant phenotyping. Also the generation of large data sets on lettuce quality produced by imaging are of interest for research purposes. LettuceKnow will keep in touch.
